My name is D. Lee Berry and I have been working at the Hartford Sumner Elementary School and the Buckfield Jr-Sr High School since the fall of 1996. I started my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, then became an RN with an Associate Degree 20 years later and after becoming a school nurse I continued taking classes and received my Bachelors Degree in 2005. I have worked in hospitals in Maine and Massachusetts for many years and I have also taught Adult CNA classes through Oxford Hills Adult Education  for many years as well.

I live in Sumner with my husband Don and have three daughters who have graduated from BJSHS and now live out of state but they love to come home to visit Maine and usually bring friends along to visit as well.

I like to travel, garden, and work on family genealogy. I am a Master Gardener working with the University of Maine’s “Harvest for Hunger” program where we grow fruits and vegetables to give away free to community members during the summer and fall.
